It was 9 years ago today that Tim texted me from the Bears game in Champaign to ask me if I wanted to be his girlfriend officially.  And it was 4 years ago today that Tim asked me (luckily in person) if I wanted to be his wife…officially. haha.  So glad I said yes to both.  It’s been a wonderful journey so far, and I cannot wait to see where the next 9 years brings us, but I’m sure it …

When Cohen was a baby, we called him Toady. Now he’s getting so big, but he’s still my Toady…always will be I suppose. I’m sure I’ll be the crazy reflective mom at hs graduation calling him Toady. Just kidding…kinda… Here he is this morning demanding more Multi Grain Cheerios. Have you ever seen a cuter, happier baby?!?!

Rosette Tutorial & Lamp Update

Last week, I told you about my brass funeral home lamp update in my Pinteresting Challenge post.  You can read about that here.  Today I went ahead and made another little change to the lamp shade.  When I initially re-did the lamp I simply stuck a beige patent leather flower that I found at Hobby Lobby on the shade.  I knew I wanted to do something different with this – but I didn’t know how to make the super cute …

Cohen and I had a playdate today with our friends Suzanne (mommy) and Tenley (16 month old daughter) at their house this morning. We played for a long time and it was so much fun. Almost immediately after we got int he car Cohen decided he was way overdue for a nap – and he didn’t care if he had his pac or not – so he stuck that lip out…and BAM! Nappy time! So peaceful when he sleeps!
